This post seems a little too late but it’s better late than never… 😉
Plus, I thought it would be nice if I use the products first before I make a review of the entire beauty box.
When I got my April BDJ box, the first thing I noticed was how heavy the box was. I was so happy when I opened it. The box was filled with amazing stuff and even without looking at the curator card, I immediately knew that the value of the entire box is more than the Php480 that I paid for. Such an amazing beauty box… I just love BDJ. They never disappoint… like never (so far… LOL!).
I had the pleasure of trying most of the products in this box so let’s take a look at each one:
I just love this product. It’s definitely a lot better than those nail polish removers that I have tried. It comes with 30 pads per pack. Based on experience, you only need to use 1 pad per nail. It can easily remove your nail polish – it would only take a few seconds per nail. The only down side about the pad is that it dries out really fast so you have to use it as quickly as possible otherwise, you’ll end up using another pad for the same nail.
I’m not fond of having neon colors on my nails but getting this product isn’t such a bad thing. It says in the instructions that in order to achieve neon-colored nail polish, you have to apply the white first twice and then the pink one twice as well. In my case, I just used the pink one and I’ll probably use the white one when I plan to do French tip. 🙂
This product is used for removing makeup on your face. It says in the card that it has the power of oil cleansing minus the oily feeling. It is Japan’s first ever water based makeup remover that not only cleanses, but nourishes deep down the skin. I was actually able to use this product once and it proved to be very effective.
It’s a moisturizing mist that is meant to be used before putting on makeup in order to prep one’s skin with a moisture. The product is formulated with Fuji water so I figured that it can never do harm on my skin. I like using this product when I’m out because it really makes my skin feel refreshed – this is specially perfect to be used during this time of the year. 😉
Now, I am normally not thrilled to get Avon products as I mentioned in my previous post but this one, I actually like. This is a full size product that costs Php799 so I thought it’s much more worth it than the sample I received from the other beauty box. I already have a lot of moisturizing creams at my disposal so I don’t get to use this one that often but hopefully, I can make use of this for one whole month so I can test its effectiveness.
This is the same product that I received from Glamourbox last March. The only difference is that, this time around, I got a full-size product worth Php350 as compared to the two sample sizes that I got from Glamourbox. I probably won’t be using this for a long time. The first time I tried it, it didn’t work for me so I will only use this once all my other body lotions have ran out. LOL!
This thing is way too expensive! I have only used the elastics once. I think I’ll get really worried when I use this because of its price tag. Haha! Better save it for special occasions!
There were two of these included in the beauty box. I already used one last month and I have to say, the smell was just wonderful. It really hydrated my skin after leaving it on for several minutes. It says for best results, you are supposed to use this twice a week but I haven’t used the other one yet. I’m also saving it for special occasions. Hehe!
More samples from Avon. The second sachet is the same as the full-size Avon Anew 360 White Day Cream that they provided. The first sachet is like a serum while the third one is a night cream. I’ll use this next time.
I got three vouchers from BDJ.
a. Belletoday Personalized weightloss coaching with Dr. Jean-Michel Cohen
(it’s a good offer but I tried creating a free diet profile on their website and they told me I’m not qualified. LOL!)
b. Bioessence Premium Pass
(it’s a FREE Aroma Facial or Foot Reflex at Bioessence. There was no mention about any purchases required to avail of the freebie so I’ll try this one soon.)
c. Goody 20% OFF Coupon
(I won’t be using this one. I wouldn’t want to spend too much money on pins and elastics.)
I got all these products for only Php480. I have computed and the value of all the products ranges anywhere from Php2500-2700. Totally worth it!
Just a reminder… BDJ has increased its subscription fee from Php480 to Php580 starting this month of May but that’s okay. If it’s a BDJ box, you can be sure that the value will always be greater than what you paid for. ^_^
