The product that has launched a thousand hypes is none other than Pantene Pro-V 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner. When a product claims to help repair hair damage, make hair smoother, make hair stronger, and prevent split ends – all that in 3 minutes time – of course, everybody’s going to want to have it especially if it would cost you way less than a visit to a salon. Very smart marketing, I think!
Pantene’s ad campaign was so good that when Sample Room launched it on their website, people went crazy over it that Sample Room’s website kind of crash. We just really can’t underestimate the power of free samples plus free shipping, can we? 🙂
Fortunately, I managed to grab a sample despite the craziness surrounding Sample Room’s website on the first day of the release. The points needed to get a sample is just 50 points and so it would not matter if you are a VIP member, a regular member or a new member because getting a Pantene Pro-V 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner will not depend on your points but on how quick you are at grabbing a sample.
How is this conditioner a miracle? Well, Pantene says that if it can improve 3 months worth of damage in the span of just 3 minutes, it is then more than just a conditioner. It must be a miracle. The question now is… Is it really a miracle or not?
“With up to 80% more of the key conditioning ingredient vs Pantene’s regular conditioners, Pantene 3MM contains the highest ever level of advanced Terminal Amino-Silicones (TAS).
This helps protect hair’s inner structure. By protecting the moisture balance of hair, Pantene 3 Minute Miracle transforms brittle, rigid, and damaged hair to touchable, soft, beautiful hair.”
To be able to test this conditioner accurately, I took pictures of my hair before and after my first use. Check it out!
The photos above are the before photos. I think my hair looked decent enough in the photos. FYI, I had my hair rebonded August 26 of last year. I don’t tie my hair but I occasionally curl it. More than 5 months have passed and although my hair isn’t as straight as I would like it to be, it still looks good, in my opinion. I actually wondered at first about how this new Pantene conditioner would fair on my hair considering my hair is still relatively on the safe zone.
After shower, I combed my hair as I normally do and unfortunately, I still got a lot of hair fall (check the photo above). I did like how my hair felt while at the shower. It felt super soft right after rinsing compared to some other conditioners that I have tried. However, it didn’t really solve my hair fall problem. I don’t mind it though since this isn’t really the main function of the conditioner. I just thought it would have been double the miracle if I had seen less hair strands on my bed. LOL!!
What did I like about the conditioner? It definitely made my hair look shinier. If you look at my “before” photos, you can clearly see how dull my hair looked but after using Pantene 3MM, my hair just looked well-prepped. Apart from that, my hair also felt light and that’s a big deal to me because I do have thick long hair so to feel that I’m not caring that much weight on my shoulder is just wonderful.
I tried combing my hair when it was already 50% dry and I still got some hair fall. Everything else though was still on point. My hair still felt soft, smooth and very easy to manage. What’s even great is the conditioner’s scent. Its fragrance is quite addicting. It had the perfect combination of fruity and floral scents that I’m sure people will love.
The sample I got from Sample Room is Pantene’s smallest full-size product at 70ml. This one just costs Php59. For my hair length, I think that this size can last me a good 7-10 days so considering how effective it was on my first day of use, I’m pretty confident that I will end up buying their biggest size (340ml for Php259) once my sample runs out. 🙂
Amazing! My hair looks and feels even better after I blow-dried it. It’s soft, straight, and shiny. I don’t even need to comb my hair every now and then because there is no need for it. Clap! Clap! Well done, Pantene!
