One of the products I got from the “My First Mustela” Set that I purchased recently is the Mustela PhysiObébé No-Rinse Cleansing Fluid (1 Full Size and 1 Travel Size). I bought the set to give to my sister-in-law who gave birth last March 28. Before handing the Mustela set to my sister-in-law, I tried testing the free travel-size products to see how good those products are. 🙂
Mustela PhysiObébé No-Rinse Cleansing Fluid cleanses and softens baby’s skin from birth on. It leaves the skin soft thanks to aloe vera extract and allantoin. Apart from that, Mustela has also added a patented natural ingredient, Avocado Perseose, that reinforces the skin barrier and preserves the cellular resource.
What is great about this No-Rinse Cleansing Fluid is that it allows mommies to clean their baby’s face and diaper area without the need for rinsing. It contains no alcohol or any other harmful chemicals/ingredients so it’s safe to use on baby’s skin – including newborn babies out of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Using this product will leave your baby’s skin clean, soft and delicately scented. Plus, this is the best product to use when you want to take your baby out. You no longer have to worry about how you’ll keep your baby’s skin clean while you’re on the go.
If you check the photo above, you’ll see that the No-Rinse Cleansing Fluid has a water-like consistency. The other samples on the photo are for the other Mustela products that I tested as well.
The No-Rinse Cleansing Fluid comes in 3 sizes (300ml, 500ml, 750ml), all in pump dispenser, making it easy to use. All you need to do is to apply one to two pumps to a cotton ball then apply it to the skin of the face or diaper area and wipe gently. You can repeat the process until your baby’s skin is completely clean. No need to rinse with water.
The No-Rinse Cleansing Fluid can also be used as a makeup remover. I have actually tried using it as a makeup remover before and it worked great. I was able to remove a lot of my makeup but it did take more than 1 cotton ball to get rid of my entire makeup since I used several cosmetic products on my face that time. While the experience was good, I thought that it would be too costly for me to use it as a makeup remover since I would have to use more of it on my face. It’s really better for babies since I don’t think they can have this much dirt on their face so using just an ample amount of the cleansing fluid will already go a long way – especially with newborn babies. Using it on kids, however, may be a different story. 🙂
In the interest of using this product to clean the skin, I decided to use my black eye pencil on my arm. Let’s assume that it is dirt. You’ll see on my video below how easy it is to remove it using this product. In fact, I only used a cotton bud to clean the “dirt” and I didn’t even press the cotton bud hard on my arm. I tried removing the dirt as gently and as lightly as possible to show mommies that they can easily clean their baby’s skin without too much force at all – not even a little. Thus, showing you how effective this product is.
The 300ml Mustela PhysiObébé No-Rinse Cleansing Fluid costs Php690. Mustela is currently offering a promo where if you buy 3 pieces of this product, instead of paying Php690 per piece, you will just have to pay Php560 each. Not bad, right? Also if you are interested to get the travel-size version of this product, the only way you can get it is by buying Mustela’s discounted sets – their travel-size bottles are not for sale.
