Unboxing: Eye of Horus Easy On The Eyes Glamourbox

I am so excited to be talking to you about the newest beauty box I got from Glamourbox. Weee!!! 🙂

This month’s box is all about the Eye of Horus brand. Actually, Glamourbox has already released a special edition Eye of Horus box last year (February 2015) but if I would compare the two, I’d say that I like the new box far more than the old one. The new Eye of Horus Easy On The Eyes Glamourbox contains a collection of makeup products that are in beautiful browns and gorgeous earth-toned hues, which means that it can be used on a daily basis. In last year’s beauty box, only 2 out of the 5 items were products for the eyes and I didn’t even like the shade of the eye pencil since it was in teal. Suffice to say, it wasn’t the kind of shade that I can use everyday. This is exactly why this month’s box is nothing short of amazing for me. 🙂

Let’s check each one:

Eye of Horus Isis Sun Goddess Shadow Palette – Full Size 3.6g (Php1350)

A fusion of precious metals in shimmering metallic shades, designed specifically for the Sun Goddess.

I love this eyeshadow palette! It only comes with 3 shades (Enigma Myst, Chalice Bronze, Sacred Husk) but these shades are already enough to create several gorgeous looks. These shades are also very pigmented so you don’t have to use too much per application. I cannot wait to play with these colors soon. Oh my!!!

Eye of Horus Goddess Pencil in Nubian Brown – Full Size 1.2g (Php990)

Matte deepest velvet brown pigments transforms the every day Goddess into an alluring Nubian Temptress with wild smouldering beauty. Creamy rich matte formula is easy to apply. Water resistant, smudge-proof and long wearing.

When it comes to eye pencil, I usually go for the black but this eye pencil from Eye of Horus is just too good to pass up.

Eye of Horus Liquid Define Babylon Brown – Full Size 2g (Php990)

Amazingly easy to use Liquid Define in deepest chocolate brown is smudge-proof, water resistant, fast drying and long wearing. Glides on without creasing on the lid, always delivering a sharp defined line.

I love the deep brown shade of this liquid eye liner. It’s the kind of shade that would look great on anyone, in my opinion. It’s very goddess-y!

Eye of Horus Ankh Necklace (Php580)

The ankh symbolizes the breath of life and the key of the Nile. It often appeared on Egyptian tomb paintings and other art, and connects to strength and health.

Well, I actually have this necklace already. Glamourbox also included this in last year’s special edition Eye of Horus box. I am, however, not complaining because I do like this necklace a lot.

If anything, I’m actually glad that I got another one because the necklace I got last year looks horrible now. LOL!

glamourbox-eye-of-horus-discount-coupon

The 5th item in the box is my least favorite simply because it’s just a Php100 discount coupon.

Only 4 products (plus a discount coupon) are included in the box but the value of everything is already at Php3910 so not bad at all. I paid Php1290 for the box plus Php80 for the shipping fee but the items I got are almost 3 times what I paid for so I’m really satisfied with it.

*FYI: In last year’s Eye of Horus Glamourbox, I only paid Php695 for the box and the total value of all the items was at Php3335. In this month’s box, I paid a total of Php1370 and the value of the entire box is at Php3910. Hmmm…. 🙂
